Support Groups & Recovery Resources

Some life support users are born with birth defects that require the life-long use of ventilators and other equipment. Others have suffered traumatic injuries later in life that require the temporary or permanent use of life support devices. For some, advanced COPD and other forms of lung disease necessitate the use of a ventilator or high volumes of oxygen.

These patients all have one thing in common: the need for support and guidance for themselves and their loved ones as they try to navigate the complicated world of insurance benefits, government assistance, and the safe operation of life support equipment in a home setting, especially during power outages.

Power Outage Partners is pleased to partner with the following disability and patient advocacy organizations that provide much needed support, resources, and information to life support users, their loved ones and caregivers.
